Digital Communication PSA

November 19, 2012 ,

In a world where technology is always changing it is important to know what to do and what not to do. This year at Riverside we started Digital Citizenship Week. Each day we had a different subject. They were Digital Communication, Digital Security, Digital Commerce, Digital Etiquette/Law, and Digital Rights/Responsibilities. During Digital Citizenship week we learned how to use the internet the right way, and the safe way.
Our teachers selected us to make a Public Service Announcement on Digital Communication which we used My Big Campus (A student based program used for learning) at times though My Big Campus turns into a facebook. We showed people how to use it properly, and the main thing we highlighted was “if you’re mad don’t post bad…things”

Griffin and Alaina are 5th grade students at Riverside Intermediate School and are involved in eLearning Rockstars a club where they learn about technology in whole new way.
