In the Weidner School of Inquiry @PHS we learn a little different then regular school. We do projects instead of worksheets. I like that because it makes school more interesting. They usually are really life situations, like this one time we made a mini golf course in Mr. Delp’s Geometry course.  We really liked this project, because we got to kind of show our creative sides a little more.  Also, we got to bring a sport that we both love into it which is basketball.  We put both of the names together, basketball and golf, and turned it into BasketGolf.

We had so many cool and creative ideas to put into this project, because we knew it would end up turning out great! Together we thought that making the ball look like a basketball, and made the hole have a backboard, to give the illusion that it was a hoop.

There were so many things we liked about this project, but there are too many to name.  We had a lot of fun, along with some frustration, but mostly fun!  Being able to show our creative abilities in this project, and because we are in SOI.  That is pretty great if you ask us!
